Virserum is fast becoming a cultural centre of SmÃ¥land. Virserum Art Museum is a world-renowned art gallery known for exhibitions and events with local, national and international relevance. The art museum is located in the cultural hotspot Dackestop, where you will also find a variety of museums that allude to the town’s history, tradition and development. Virserum Furniture Industry Museum is a complete and functional copy of a furniture factory from the 1920s. The Swedish Telecommunications Museum reflects mobile and fixed telephony in various environments in the last 100 years. Dackestop also house excellent facilities for meetings, conferences, corporate hospitality and private events. In addition to this, Virserum has several amateur artist societies that regularly meet and exhibit.

Virserum Music Days take place every June. It is a festival for both adults and children with a packed programme of daily indoor and outdoor concerts. In the last ten years Virserum Music Days has become an important fixture in the Swedish summer, and the event attracts Swedish as well as foreign visitors alike.
